We have a very exciting opportunity for a Jr. Software Engineer with a growing company located in Carlsbad that develops state of the art software solutions for companies across the globe. You will be part of a SCRUM team working with Sr. Engineers with the ability to get your hands on some exciting technologies while working in an environment where your team is having fun and working hard at the same time. Primary responsibility is focused on new development and maintenance work related to existing and future applications. This involves everything from minor code changes to architecture and design of new modules, including writing code, debugging, testing and documentation.


Responsibilities include:


§  Providing maintenance programming support


§  Designing, and Developing new modules as needed


§  Adhering to and enforcing in others the processes and standards defined by the EngineeringDepartment


§  Leading engineering tasks/efforts as needed


§  Work in a cross-functional team environment and act as the engineering interface as needed with other project team members including Product Management, QA, Docs, Client Services


Minimum requirements include:


§  College Degree in Computer Science


§  1-2 years development experience with Microsoft technologies


§  Experience with C# and .NET Framework


§  1-2 years development experience with ASP.NET and AJAX


§   1-2 years development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery


§  Reasonable knowledge of Windows server platforms


§  Knowledge of unit testing and test driven development techniques


§  Exposure to Agile and SCRUM methodology
